General
1. Respect your admins. We're here to keep the site running smoothly.
2. Respect your fellow members. This will help your admins have an easier time with things, not to mention keep a fun environment.
3. Arguments shouldn't be seen OOC. Take to PMs or IMs.
4. No cursing, absolutely none in OOC. Something like 'damn' or 'hell' can be used for emphasis or something, but let's not go any further than that.
5. You must make a character sheet and wait for it to be accepted before you may begin to role-play. If you don't do either step, you will have your posts removed.
6. You may have as many characters as you can handle. Any characters not being played will be deleted.
7. Inactivity for a month will get you deleted. If you join and show no signs of working on a character sheet within a couple weeks of joining, you will also be deleted. You're free to join again in either case.
Signatures
1. No nudity. No objectionable content of any sort. You'll find a PM or a nice little note in your signature letting you know why.
2. NO anime. Absolutely none. One of my pet peeves when a board has all these people using actual people in their sigs and then BAM there's a drawing.
3. If an admin takes it down and you put it back up, you will receive a 50% warning.
4. May be a max of 550 pixels wide by 200 high. Still too large? Turn off the view signature option in your profile.
5. Make sure to claim your celebrity that you use. Only one of each is allowed unless characters are twins and it's been arranged with the other member.
IC
1. Let's keep cursing to a minimum, please.
2. Anything over PG-13 place an X beside the title. Edit in if necessary later on.
3. Powerplaying/godmoding/bunnying. Let's try to avoid it to the best of our ability. If it's unavoidable, use your PM system or IM to clear something with the other player.
4. Just because your character likes another person's character doesn't mean that person's character has to like yours back. Rejection: a part of life, also a part of this RPG.
5. Don't take something said or done to your character personally. Just because the person's character hates your character's guts doesn't mean that person hates you.
6. Posts must be in third person. This means, 'He walked down the street and saw her standing there,' instead of, 'I walked down the street and saw you standing there.' The only time first person may be allowed is in a diary or journal or in the history of a character sheet.
7. Posts should be at least two paragraphs (ten lines each in the quick reply box, the whole box twice in the real reply box) in length. Absolutely no one-liners will be tolerated.
Warning System
This is how the warning system will generally work. However, if anyone finds just cause why you are a threat to the site's success or any members, I reserve the right to immediately ban you for however long I see fit.
Steps in the Average Banning Procedure.
1. First rule break, warning and the level goes to 33%.
2. Second rule break, another warning, the warning level goes to 66%, and you are suspended for one week.
3. Third rule break, you are informed, the level goes up to 100%, and you are banned permanently.
Steps in the Revoking of Admin Powers.
1. First abuse, warning.
2. Second abuse, stripping of the admin powers you took advantage of having.
3. Third abuse, all powers taken and you are demoted to being a mere member without any powers or privileges.
To get into the character sheet board, find the answer to this and put the word into the password field:
